Two coal miners uncover something underground that begins to fracture their bond.

Deep underground, the coal miner Mattheus and his young assistant Maël make a mystical discovery. As Mattheus dreams of a life above the ground, their bond slowly unravels. What was buried begins to surface and nothing will ever be the same.
