Tarzán

Tarzán was a half-hour syndicated series that aired 1991–1994. In this version of the show, Tarzan was portrayed as a blond environmentalist, with Jane turned into a French ecologist. Ron Ely, famous for playing Tarzan in the original series, played a character named Gorden Shaw in the first season episode “Tarzan the Hunted”.

A selfish prospector scours the jungle in search of a potential uranium source and he completely ignores the harmful effects his actions may have on the environment, so the mighty Tarzan tries to teach the greedy man a lesson.

Tarzan comes across a military official who has entered the jungle in the hopes of disarming a nuclear warhead that could potentially lay waste to the entire area, but the true intentions of the visitor are not made entirely clear.
