The Forgotten Toys is an animated series made by Hibbert Ralph Entertainment, featuring the voices of Joanna Lumley and Bob Hoskins. The voice of Andrew Sachs is also featured. It is a poignant tale of abandoned toys who are searching for a child to love them.

Teddy and Annie shelter in a small church on a cold, dark night. Teddy is frightened by some mysterious noises. The noises turn out to be burglars, not ghosts. Annie and Teddy manage to thwart the criminals.

Teddy loves fun fairs. Annie is not so sure, but Teddy drags her along anyway. They meet a puppy who's lost his people. Annie and Teddy reunite the puppy with his family, but not without getting themselves into some perilous scrapes.

Teddy wants to see the bears at a zoo - "They're family!" They meet all manner of animals at the zoo, but it soon becomes apparent that all is not well. The toys hatch a plan, and lead an escape to a nice new zoo.

Annie falls into a drain and is rescued by a toy soldier. Annie falls in love with him. He has muscles, rugged good looks and an impressive array of equipment. Teddy is sceptical about the toy boy's talents.

Teddy and Annie stumble into a puppet theatre. They are dressed up to be the main stars for that evening's performance. They realise that a life on the stage is not for them.

Whilst Annie and Teddy are sheltering in the doorway of a jewellery shop two burglars use Teddy to muffle the alarm. With the help of a friendly police dog, Annie brings the criminals to justice.

Once again Teddy's arm drops off and he decides he has to go to hospital. He hitches a ride in an ambulance with a little girl called Flora.

Annie rips her dress and goes into a house to find a needle and thread. Unfortunately she gets herself and Teddy involved in a dispute between the toys in the house and their next door neighbour toys. A toy soldier has been kidnapped and toy war has broken out.

Teddy is obsessed by aliens, and is very excited to find a UFO in the park. Annie realises that this is a toy left behind by a child, but Teddy is convinced that the UFO and it's robot occupant are extraterrestrial. Teddy tried to relaunch the UFO, while Annie sets about finding it's owner.

Teddy finds a magic wand in a dustbin at the back of a theatre. Teddy tries it out and finds that he can do magic. Annie is horrified to see that Teddy's new found power brings out the worst in him. Even worse Teddy can't control the magic, mayhem ensues which persuades Teddy to return the wand to it's rightful owner.

Teddy and Annie meet another bear - Posh Teddy. Posh Teddy lives a boring life in the lap of luxury and wants some excitement, while Teddy fancies a little pampering. The two bears agree to swap lives for a day. Teddy's fantasies of comfort and endless telly is quickly dispelled, as the reality of violin lessons and endless puréed sprouts becomes all too much for him.

Teddy falls in love with a ballerina on a musical box. Teddy thinks she won't like him and tries, unsuccessfully, to be a posh bear. However, Teddy has to be himself and rescue the ballerina when the notorious burglars Kath and Keef steal her.

The toys are washed up on an island in the middle of a boating lake after the pedallo they were sheltering in breaks loose, then sinks. The island turns out to be a sanctuary for rare birds, and Annie and Teddy have to thwart the robbers Kath and Keef as they try to steal the birds' eggs.

At Teddy's insistence, the Toys are at the circus. Annie is grabbed by a gorilla who refuses to let her go. Teddy tries to rescue Annie, but just succeeds in releasing the gorilla who climbs to the highest part of the trapeze with Annie in his arms.

A little baby called Jimbo loses his teddy in the park, but finds Teddy instead. Teddy is taken home by Jimbo's family and subjected to a good scrubbing, sprouts, and being thrown on the floor. Teddy decides to take the child in hand and teach him a few things - the dangers of dogs, sprouts and dolls, how to use the TV remote control, and amusing tricks to play on grown-ups.

Teddy gets himself into a terrible mess after diving into an oily pool. He and Annie find an old house where they can have a bath. However, the bath toys, a duck, a loofah and a tug boat are not impressed by these strangers running the taps and messing up their bath. However, Annie and Teddy save the grumpy toys when it becomes apparent that the house is about to be demolished.

Dog Day

Teddy and Annie are in a dockyard. It doesn't take Teddy long to start getting in trouble with swing bridges and cranes. Once Annie has rescued Teddy, the toys shelter in a long-forgotten, disused warehouse, guarded by an old boxer dog called Champ. Champ used to be the most famous guard-dog in the docks, but like the warehouse, he's been forgotten too.

Annie loses a ribbon and insists that she and Teddy go shopping. They wait until closing time before exploring. However, the pair fall asleep in the bedding department and when they wake up, the shop is full of customers. Will Annie and Teddy be able to escape from the shop undetected?
