WordGirl

WordGirl is an American children’s animated television series for children aged 9 –12, produced by the Soup2Nuts animation unit of Scholastic Entertainment for PBS Kids. The show began as a series of shorts that premiered on PBS Kids Go! on November 10, 2006, usually shown at the end of Maya & Miguel; the segment was then spun off into a new thirty-minute episodic series that premiered on September 3, 2007 on most Public Broadcasting Service member stations. This animated show is aimed at children six to twelve years old, but viewers older than this demographic have been reported as well. It is designed to teach about the expansive English language and its vocabulary. All four seasons each have twenty-six episodes. The show is also seen on some educational networks in Canada, including Knowledge in British Columbia and TVOntario, as well as Discovery Kids in Latin America. The program is also syndicated internationally in places such as Australia and Italy.

In this episode, Tobey's mother "accidentally" sells his master remote and it ends up in the hands of Johnson, who presents it to TJ, the president of the International WordGirl Fanclub, as his club dues. When TJ starts arbitrarily pressing the buttons, robots begin behaving strangely, wrecking various buildings and areas as they go. WordGirl and Huggy find Tobey, who explains the situation, and since WordGirl doesn't know what the remote looks like she suggests they work together to find it. Wordgirl even asks Tobey if he has a tracking device for the remote, which he does, but he hides it in his back pocket saying he has never herd of a "tr-a-cking device." In their search, Tobey slyly suggests that they should search the library, and museum. At the library he even finds Wordgirl's favorite dictionary and at the museum he views her favorite painting.They even get ice cream in the park. Who's Ms.Question?: Is asking question a superpower? The Coach certainly doesn't think so when he eliminates Ms. Question from Villain School. When lightning strikes WordGirl has going to have to dodge more than just questions in order to stop her./Lunch Lady Chuck:Rather than spend his time in jail, Chuck is recruited to serve in the cafeteria at Becky's school. Chuck wows the students with superb sandwiches but things turn ugly when people request non-sandwich related lunches. Irritated by the lack of sandwich appreciation, Chuck returns to his evil ways forcing WordGirl to bring him to justice.
