Virgil transfers to a school for advanced students, where he works on an electricity-absorbing prototype. Trouble is, the school turns out to be funded by Edwin Alva, and the prototype is used to make a robot that Alva wants for his nefarious ends.

A bad boy learns that his younger stepbrother is metahuman, and wants him to use his powers to steal things.

Sharon dates a rapper who turns out to be Rubberband Man, who has escaped from prison. Static isn't pleased and that's not all Rubberband Man has to worry about: two metahuman bounty hunters are on his trail.

Edwin Alva vs. his son, who's tired of being ignored and dismissed by his father. So Junior, who has figured out how to control the metahuman serum, uses it to become one himself--Omnifarious--and takes on his dad.

A washed-up child actor with meta-human powers clones Static, and the clone goes on a crime spree.

Sunspots cause Static's powers to increase exponentially, then he loses them altogether, which Hotstreak, who has just been released from jail, soon discovers.

Virgil refuses to cooperate with a police officer attempting to search his backpack, because he doesn't want her to find his Static suit. It turns out that this cop is his dad's new girlfriend, and that she was looking for a briefcase stolen by two boys who are also making meta-gas.

Rubberband Man returns and saves Static from a new villain named Aquamaria, but it'll take more than that to get Static to believe that Rubberband Man is now a good guy.
9. Attack of the Living Brain Puppets

A Bang Baby named Madelyn Spaulding turns everyone in Dakota into a zombie. Everyone but Virgil, that is.

Adam Evans (the Rubberband-Man) gets a recording contract with the help of A.J. McLean of the Backstreet Boys, but the jealous shape-shifter Replikon kidnaps A.J. in an attempt to scuttle Adam's deal.

Static vs. Green Lantern. This is a pity because Green Lantern has long been a hero of Static's, but robberies have been committed and all signs point to Green Lantern.
5. Army of Darkness

Static and Gear fight Nightbreed, a meta-human gang whose members can't live in sunlight, so they're setting out to take it away from everyone else.
6. No Man's an Island

Edwin Alva captures Static and Hotstreak for scientific experiments and handcuffs them together. So they must work together if they're going to escape. Trouble is, they can't stand each other.
7. Hoop Squad

Static and a group of NBA stars moonlighting as superheroes team up to rescue Gear, who was been kidnapped by the evil scientist Dr. Odium.

A teen thief named Speedwarp who can manipulate time wants to romance Daisy, but Static and Gear think that's a bad idea.
9. Where the Rubber Meets the Road

Rubberband Man must overcome his dyslexia to help Static and Gear disarm a fusion reactor stolen from Edwin Alva's lab as part of a "disaster matrix" plan hatched by Specs and Trapper to wreak havoc in the city.
