The All-New Popeye Hour is an animated television series produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions and King Features Syndicate. Starring the popular comic strip character Popeye, the series aired from 1978 to 1983 on CBS.

Popeye, Olive and Swee'Pea are sightseeing in New York City. Olive visits a department store to try on some dresses, leaving Popeye to watch Swee'Pea. However, Swee'Pea decides to do some sightseeing of his own, and when Popeye's back is turned, he wanders off. Popeye realizes that Swee'Pea is gone and decides to go get him before Olive learns that he is missing. Swee'Pea leads Popeye on a merry chase through New York, including the subway and the World Trade Center, ending up on the Statue of Liberty, where Popeye has to eat some spinach to save him when he falls off. Popeye returns with Swee'Pea in the nick of time before Olive realizes that they are gone. When he finally catches Swee'Pea, Popeye is so exhausted that he wants to take a nap, but then Olive wants to go sightseeing, and she can't understand why Popeye's so tired.

1. Queen of the Load

Popeye, Olive and Bluto are all truckers out on the road cross-country in their own little convoy (with CB radios and everything). Popeye and Olive Oyl are partners driving the same truck. Bluto thinks that he would do much better with his trucking business if he had Olive as a partner, so he tries to talk her into it. When she refuses, Bluto makes all kinds of difficulties for her while she's on the road, but Popeye comes to her rescue and saves the day.
2. Love on the Rocks
Air Date: 1979-09-17
Olive doesn't think that Popeye is romantic enough, so Popeye decides to build a monument dedicated to the both of them: he carves their pictures on a mountain. The ever-troublemaking Bluto also wants to impress Olive, and he starts to interfere with Popeye's work. He decides to carve his picture over Popeye's, and the battle is on. Popeye gets so mad that he throws Bluto into a pool. Before you know it, the whole mountain is gone. Olive then decides it doesn't matter if the world doesn't know that Popeye cares for her as long as she does.
3. Popeye the Lone Legionnaire

Popeye is the last legionnaire manning the last outpost in the Sahara. Bluto is a desert pirate bent on taking the fort from Popeye. Olive Oyl is, of course, the damsel in distress. Bluto captures the fort, raising the Jolly Roger flag. He captures Olive. Popeye comes to her rescue, and they both work to defeat Bluto. Popeye and Olive live happily ever after at the outpost.
4. Roller Rink-a-Dink

Olive goes roller skating and takes Popeye along with her. While Popeye is trying to skate, Bluto tries to move in and take Olive away from Popeye.
5. Old McPopeye Had a Farm

Popeye's Uncle Angus McPopeye has asked for his help because Farmer Bluto is stealing everything from his farm.
6. Chips Off The Old Ice Block

Popeye and Bluto get into an argument over who will teach Swee'Pea to skate. Bluto makes Swee'Pea try a barrel-jumping trick, and Popeye must save him from going over the edge of a cliff. Thanks to Popeye and his spinach, Swee'Pea is saved.

While Olive is spring cleaning one day, her parrot Polly accidentally escapes. Olive immediately calls for Popeye to help her. Of course, he's followed by Bluto, who also wants to help. Popeye and Bluto pursue the bird as well as each other, and when Popeye finally manages to get rid of Bluto and catch the bird, he discovers that it's the wrong parrot. Polly had returned home by herself.

Olive and Popeye are looking at some pictures from their yearbook. Popeye starts to reminisce about some episodes between Bluto and himself, only to realize that Olive has fallen asleep.

Granny Oyl's winter ski resort is in trouble, and she may have to go out of business, while rival Bluto's resort is doing very well.

Popeye and Olive are having a backyard cookout. Popeye's nephews are playing basketball, and their ball goes over the fence into Bluto's yard.
47. I Wouldn't Take That Mare To The Fair On A Dare

Popeye and the gang are at a county fair. Olive and Bluto have their horses entered in the "strong horse" contest, with Wimpy as judge. Swee'Pea wants to enter his horse, an old mare, also, but nobody takes him seriously. In order for the horses to win, the horse has to drag a sledge of rocks weighing 50,000 tons. The contest begins. The cheater Bluto, up to his old tricks, puts a picture of Mare-A-lin, the "Filly Fatale," in his horse's blinders. Bluto's horse takes off like a bird in flight, and Wimpy never gets to say "go." Bluto's horse is disqualified. It's now Olive's turn, and Bluto gets jealous and plays a dirty trick on Olive, and her horse is disqualified. Olive, with nowhere to turn, tells Popeye to do something. Popeye decides to enter Swee'Pea horse.
48. The Great Speckled Whale

Colonel Crumb instructs Sergeant Blast to schedule a training drill for Private Oyl and Goon, much to Sergeant Blast's displeasure the girls come through with flying colors.

Olive thinks that her decorating chores will go much easier with the help of Popeye and Bluto. Much to her surprise the boys end up being no help at all.
10. Goon Native

Sergeant Blast is stuck with Olive and Alice to go on beach maneuvers. Instead of taking it as serious army maneuvers, Olive and Alice think of it as a vacation. This leads them to some troubles, which make Sergeant Blast wish that she wasn't in the army with them.
11. Cheap Skate Date

At a roller skating ring, Bluto is bothering Olive who is learning how to skate. As she starts to yell for help, Popeye rescues her from Bluto and now she can freely learn how to skate without falling all the time.

While in the army, Olive and Alice as usual give a lot of trouble to Sergeant Bleast who really gets mad when she finds out that they were invited to go have lunch with the General, while she has to take care of a goat.
13. Neanderthal Nuisance

Caveman Popeye visits Cavewoman Olive for a day of sunbathing in her backyard. Olive's pesky new neighbor, Caveman Bluto, will not leave them alone. Popeye tries several times to get rid of him.
14. Wreck Room

Colonel Crumb makes Olive a Sergeant for one day, so that she and Sergeant Blast can finish the recreational room. Sergeant Blast is very surprised and very mad when Colonel Crumb informs her that Olive's bright colors on her side of the room are very good for the morale, and orders Blast to the same to her side.
15. The Incredible Shrinking Popeye

While passing through a park, where Popeye picked up some flowers for Olive (who had invited him for dinner) he gets sprayed with a shrinking potion. As Popeye got smaller his problems just started. When he finally arrives at Olive's house, dinner is over but he is still on time for dessert....strawberry shortcake.
16. Private Secretaries

Privates Olive and Alice Go along with Sergeant Blast who were ordered by Colonel Crumb to do his paperwork. While Blast is trying to fix-up his office, Olive and Alice keep on messing it up. Colonel Crumb arrives and is very surprised to see that in the middle of all the mess, Olive and Alice had found his army yearbook.
17. The First Resort

Both Popeye and Bluto decide to take a rest at Olive's restful resort. After a few "encounters" with Bluto, and after rescuing Olive from a falling down ceiling, Popeye decides to leave the restful resort because rest was the only thing he didn't do there.
18. Goon Balloon

While doing the laundry, Alice took a balloon basket by mistake, and Olive, herself and Sergeant Blast end up taking a balloon ride. While enjoying the ride, Olive took some pictures with a camera that was inside the basket. On the ground Blast reported them to the Colonel who for her surprise was very happy with what had happen, because he wanted to test that camera and now he knows that it works perfectly.
19. Vegetable Stew

Popeye and Bluto volunteer to go shopping, so that Olive can fix them something to eat. After the shopping is done, they return to Olive's cafe, but before eating Popeye has to go pick up flowers for the table. While doing this a bee-a-saurus attacks him and when Olive goes to help him she also gets trapped. With a little help from his spinach, Popeye rescues Olive only to find out that Wimpy had eaten all of the food.
20. Tanks a Lot

Privates Olive, Alice and the rest of Sergeant Blast's army troop are doing field maneuvers. Left on their own, they discover a tank and impress Colonel Crumb with their driving skills.
21. Winner Window Washer

Both Popeye and Bluto answer an ad for a job as window washers for Olive. Olive decides that she will hire the one who finishes doing the windows first. Bluto tries to stop Popeye from getting ahead of him, but Popeye comes out the winner.
22. Rocky Rolls

After making a cake with blasting powder, it explodes and Sergeant Blast is really mad. She gets even madder when the Colonel invites Olive and Alice to go have dinner in town with him, and orders her to rearrange his rock garden with the pieces of Olive's cake.
23. Hogwash at the Car Wash

Olive takes her car to be cleaned at Popeye's carwash. There Bluto starts to interfere with his work and Popeye puts an end to his interferences by putting him through the carwash.
24. Snow Fooling

Colonel Crumb is going to Hawaii, but he can't get to his jeep, because of the snow. Sergeant Blast orders private Olive and Alice to clean up the snow (which they do). After the Colonel's departure, by a misunderstood order, Alice and Olive take the jeep and leave, leaving behind Sergeant Blast who is very mad.

While visiting Olive and Alice, Swee'Pea ignores the visiting hours and stays on the base without Olive's knowledge. While parachuting, Olive finds Swee'Pea inside the parachute. Everything is fine, until Swee'Pea gets into trouble and Olive has to rescue him. Instead of being angry with Olive for having Swee'Pea on base, Colonel Crumb thinks that they were excellently trained, because of the action he saw when Olive was rescuing Swee'Pea.

After doing a few mistakes, privates Olive Oyl and Alice Goon wreck a few buildings with a train. Colonel Crumb thinks that is wonderful because the buildings were coming down any way, and it also showed the trains rugged, construction.

Cavemen Popeye and Bluto compete to make the best camping site for Olive. The wilderness is scarier than expected and Popeye has to use spinach to save Olive from dinosaurs.

Private Olive and Alice are ready for inspection. Sergeant Blast finds their pet Jeep and drives herself crazy trying to catch it and bring it to the army pound.

Olive wants to move out to the beach and Popeye's moving service is at her disposal - until Bluto's moving company decides to help out. Popeye needs his spinach to help Olive save her furniture and other valuables from Bluto.
