Pugwall

Pugwall is an Australian children's television series. It revolves around the title character Peter Unwin George Wall, PUGWALL, and his friends as they form a band called the Orange Organics.

Seasons

1. Enter Pugwall

Air Date: 1989-06-13

Pugwall introduces his family and friends, Bazza, Orfo and Stringbean. Today is his birthday. Pugwall's dreams are realised when he is given a guitar - but no amplifier.

2. Hospital

Air Date: 1989-06-14

With his friends, Pugwall dreams of forming a rock band.A bike crash puts Pugwall in hospital where he meets Jenny.

3. Jenny

Air Date: 1989-06-15

Pugwall is found to be uninjured and he asks Jenny if she can sing. He even goes to church to listen to her sing. Pugwall and the gang find themselves in trouble at school.

4. Hollow Drums

Air Date: 1989-06-16

Orfo needs a drum kit. The boys answer an advertisement only to discover stolen drums. By luck the ""band"" manages to buy a legitemate drum kit but Pugwall still has no amplifier.

5. Off Apples and Bulls

Air Date: 1989-06-19

In an attempt to raise money, the group are invited to pick apples on Uncle Rodger's farm. Pugwall and Jenny have a nasty encounter when a bull chases them into a dam.

6. Blast Off

Air Date: 1989-06-20

The band ""The Orange Organics"" as they have called themselves have their first ""gig"", a 21st birthday party but their music is not appreciated by the older generation.

7. Outing

Air Date: 1989-06-21

One of Pugwall's dogs dies so he takes the other to school.This naturally causes trouble. The class goes on a school excursion to an animal sanctuary where the gang fight with their arch antagonists Wozza and Con.

8. Heroes

Air Date: 1989-06-22

On the way home the school bus is forced off the road and hangs dangerously over a drop. Pugwall and the gang save the day by keeping everyone calm. The band plays for a school dance where they are treated like heroes.

9. The Race

Air Date: 1989-06-23

In a cross country race Pugwall saves the life of a teacher but in so doing he allows his arch rival Con to win.

10. The Local Show

Air Date: 1989-06-26

The gang go to the show but are forced to take Marmaloid with them. Pugwall bribes her to disappear and the gang spends the rest of the day by themselves. They try to see the dance of the seven veils, do a bit of busking and get involved in a fight. Marmaloid is forgotten till they arrive home.

11. Tins and Labels

Air Date: 1989-06-27

In an effort to win a holiday, Supes becomes obsessed with entering competitions on labels. Aunt Annabell visits and the group try to deceive her by miming to an inkspots record.

12. The Holiday

Air Date: 1989-06-28

Supes wins a holiday. Only to find it is the use of a rather large caravan. Without any experience, Herohead finds such an adventure unmanagable.The holiday turns out to be a disaster.

13. Marmaloid Marches

Air Date: 1989-06-29

Marmaloid has entered a marching girl quest but Pugwall manages to distract her concentration, destroying the drill.

14. The School Camp

Air Date: 1989-06-30

At the annual school camp the group encounters the headmasters nephew as he tries to sing with the band.

15. The Talent Quest

Air Date: 1989-07-01

Jenny has entered the band in a television talent quest. After many setbacks the group win their heat.

16. The Final

Air Date: 1989-07-04

The Orange Organics fail to win the final but the winning band is disqualified so our heros win by default.

Air Date: 1991-06-18

Pugwall's recording session in Japan is a failure. The gang must decide on their future as a band.

2. Goals

Air Date: 1991-06-19

Pugwall dyes his hair in an effort to zap up the ""Organics"" image with the surfie crowd, with disasterous results.

3. Skeletons

Air Date: 1991-06-20

Pugwall's bike is stolen and Marmaloid finds it in pieces, and returns it at a price.

4. The Hand of Fete

Air Date: 1991-06-21

Supes makes the family life a misery preparing for the School Fete, although the band win out.

5. Take The Rap

Air Date: 1991-06-24

Pugwall decides to install his own phone in his room - but fails to recognise the ills of modern communications.

6. Five kids and a Baby

Air Date: 1991-06-25

Supes and Herohead go to the country for the weekend leaving Pugwall and Marmaloid in charge of the family home. But Pugwall undertakes to baby sit a friends infant.

7. Decibelles

Air Date: 1991-06-26

Daniella tries to blackmail Pugwall into letting her sing with the ""Organincs"".

8. Orange Crush

Air Date: 1991-06-27

Orfo falls head over heels in love with the drama teacher Miss Arnott.

9. Rebellion

Air Date: 1991-06-28

Bazza stays at the Walls home and Marmaloid invites her girlfriends over.

10. Christmas Hocking

Air Date: 1991-07-01

The relatives arrive for Christmas Day with Pugwall and the family. Pugwall wonders as to the hereditary factors he has inherited.

11. Heat Rash

Air Date: 1991-07-02

The Wall family take a camping trip that leads to disaster, while Pugwall pines for Rochelle.

12. Duelling Divas

Air Date: 1991-07-03

Supes decides it's about time Pugwall met some other girls besides Jenny, much to Marmaloids delight.

13. Breaking Out

Air Date: 1991-07-04

Marmaloid disobeys Heroheads orders and is ""grounded"".

14. The Great Guitar Robbery

Air Date: 1991-07-05

The Wall family home is robbed and Pugwall's guitar is missing.

15. Home Hits

Air Date: 1991-07-08

Herohead is struck by a mysterious illness while the Organics try to win a radio competition.

16. Struck Oil

Air Date: 1991-07-09

The ""Organics"" decide to make a video clip and Marmaloid demands to be included.

17. Save The World Part 1

Air Date: 1991-07-10

Pugwall and the ""gang"" take an interest in the environment and decide to write a song about it only to find conflict closer to home through Herohead business interests.

18. Save The World Part 2

Air Date: 1991-07-11

The ""Orange Organics"" decide to record their ""conservation song"", only to find that Marmaloid has booked the studio.

19. King of the Paper Round

Air Date: 1991-07-12

Pugwall takes on a paper-round, which he then sub-contracts to raise more money for the sound studio.

20. Mr Humble

Air Date: 1991-07-15

Herohead hires a tutor to help improve Marmaloid's studies, but in an attempt to assist his sister Pugwall and the Organics under go a learning curve.

21. Torture Test

Air Date: 1991-07-16

The kid's parents are concerned that the band is affecting their studies, they give them an ulternatium to improve their academic results.

22. St Valentines Day

Air Date: 1991-07-17

Supes and Herohead are not on speaking terms so the kids work out a plan to get them back together. Orfo is attracted to Daniella while Jenny feels that she has been taken for granted.

23. Extra Terrestrials

Air Date: 1991-07-18

The boys watch 'Horror Movies' till late at night when Marmaloid and her friends take advantage of the situation.

24. Thumbs Up

Air Date: 1991-07-19

The Organics record their record amidst fear and trepidation.

25. Organics Incorporated

Air Date: 1991-07-22

The gang attempt to sell their record by every means at their disposal.

26. Go for Gold

Air Date: 1991-07-23

A record contract distributer agrees to handle the Organics record sales and the band is left in a state of anxiety as to whether they have succeeded.
