Brats of the Lost Nebula

Brats of the Lost Nebula is a puppet and computer animated series originally broadcast on the Kids' WB block of Saturday morning programming in 1998. Created by Dan Clark, the sci-fi series for kids used puppets from Jim Henson's Creature Shop and state of the art computer graphics from C.O.R.E. Digital Effects. The series followed the adventures of 5 orphans all from different planets that must band together to fight an evil invading force known as "The Shock".

1. What Mom Said

Air Date: 1998-10-10

The Shock, led by Hextar Vigar, invades the Solar Cluster, and destroys the home world of siblings Zadam and Triply.

2. Total Bratification

Air Date: 1998-10-18

The Brats gear up to wage war on the Shock.

3. Brain Drain

Air Date: 1998-10-25

The Shock captures Triply, who is subjected to a mind probe by Doctor Faboo. Vigar realizes that he has no memory of his own past prior to joining the Shock.

4. A Lozian Necessity

Air Date: 1998-11-01

Lavana loses her wings during an attack by the Shock and falls in with a self-help guru who is secretly collaborating with the Shock.

5. Heart Hunters

Air Date: 1998-12-02

Triply takes off to search a derelict freighter for her and Zadam's parents, followed by Zadam and Duncan, while Lavana and Ryle learn more about the Planetoid.

6. Punk Chip

Air Date: 1998-11-12

Doctor Faboo imbues a Shock Warrior with an A.I. that is an amalgamation of all of the personality traits of the Brats.

7. The Runaways

Air Date: 1998-11-18

Ryle turns out to not be an orphan, and begins undergoing his race's potentially fatal equivalent of puberty when he is abducted by the Shock.

8. Mutant Freak

Air Date: 1998-11-25

A parasite latches on to Duncan and causes him to begin mutating out of control, and the only person who can save him is Doctor Faboo.

9. Blite for a Day

Air Date: 1998-12-09

Zadam and Duncan get caught on Vigar's ship.

10. The Acceptors

Air Date: 1998-12-30

Planet Dwein needs saving from the shock invasion.

11. Faith

Air Date: 1999-01-06

Zadam begins to lose hope, and so is shown visions of the past by the Planetoid.

12. Mom and Dad

Air Date: 1999-01-13

Zadam and Triply reunite with their parents, but they are actually robots built by Vigar and Doctor Faboo to infiltrate the Planetoid.

13. Papa's Got a Brand New Bag

Air Date: 1999-01-20

Vigar regains his memories and invades the Planetoid, leading to a climactic confrontation between him, the Brats, and the Shock's true leaders, the Hosts.
