What do the city's young people think about abortion? They visit a so-called megachurch, find themselves in the middle of a homecoming parade, and experience the amazing atmosphere surrounding college football in the US.

Carina and Tareq stop in the small town of Kennesaw where the law says every household must own at least one firearm. Tareq Taylor tests survival food while Carina Bergfeldt attends a course for women who want to learn how to handle firearms for self-defense. Finally, they meet a mother who has paid a high price for the country's liberal gun policy.

Carina and Tareq meet two women whose careers have taken them in different directions. Charismatic chef Daryl JW Mackin invites them to a camp for children who have lost parents in war.

Together, Carina and Farah attend a sound healing session and then meet a man who hand-built a seven-storey temple in the middle of the rainforest.

Once in Brisbane, Farah meets people who have moved to the country in search of a better life, but the wounds from their home countries prove difficult to heal. Carina and Farah head for the mythical outback that covers most of the country. There they meet adventurer Charlie and his wife Deborah and together they spend the night out in the red desert under the open sky.

Carina Bergfeldt and Farah Abadi are in the middle of the Australian outback, in Alice Springs. They meet Rayleen Brown, one of Australia's most famous Indigenous chefs. At the same time, a huge motorcycle festival is taking place where people have been driving for days to participate. Carina and Farah head to the festival to meet car enthusiasts and check out Australia's national hairstyle - the mullet.
