Two teams of advertising executives compete to win the Raleigh of Nottingham's 'Raleigh Chopper' Christmas ad campaign. One team live and work the 1970s - without computers, mobile phones, internet or even motorcycle couriers - and has two weeks to put together a pitch. The other has team access to all modern technology, but only has a day to do the job.

Romance is in the air, Rob has typewriter trouble, Victor and Matt have creative differences, and Joe makes 200 origami swans. Plus the sexual discrimination of the 1970s is exposed when the creatives get their first pay packets. Mini campaign: Sparklets. What's in the future?: The Sony Walkman.

3. The Scent of a Woman

Joe's smelling things, Rob gets musical and Paul tells Nicole to shut the fuck up. Mini campaign: Texan chocolate bars. What's in the future? The first hand-held mobile phone, known as ""the brick"".

4. All Shook Up

Air Date: 2004-11-12

Partnerships change as a new creative joins the team. Jasmine reveals her competitive side in a space hopper race, Merle and Joe exchange notes, and musician Mitch Benn is brought in to help the teams compose jingles for their latest mini-task. Mini-campaign: Blackpool. What's in the future? The DeLorean car.

5. Like a Coiled Spring

Air Date: 2004-11-19

Rob deputsies for Paul, Matthew's artwork fails to come up to scratch, Joe records sound effects for the pitch, and Natasha's chanting annoys the boys. Finally, Paul reveals his choice for the final pitch team. Mini-campaign: Royal Mail - wrap with care. What's in the future?: SMS Text messaging.
