A precocious 5-year-old named Maggie conjures up an imaginary land where she and her favorite toys, Hamilton Hocks and Ferocious Beast, can play and have adventures. The Ferocious Beast is anything but ferocious, though he is large, with red spots and three horns on his head.

Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast are having great fun in the snow, making snow sculptures and snow angels, and throwing snowballs. Hamilton's box makes a very good sled, until it hits a rock and is torn. Hamilton is filled with remorse, and sings a sad little song about his beloved box. Maggie eventually saves the day, fixing the tear with one of the Beast's spots.

How many spots does a Ferocious Beast have? Maggie and Hamilton find out that counting them isn't as easy as you'd think! When she tries to count the spots on the Beast's back, Maggie finds herself caught up a tree and her friends have to help her get back down.

Hamilton the chef needs an extra big pumpkin for his pumpkin brulé soufflé flambé recipe. When the Beast and Maggie arrive with the other ingredients, they find that Hamilton has dug his way into an enormous pumpkin and can't get out again!

The Beast really likes the band-aid Maggie has on her knee and will not rest until he can have one too. Meanwhile Maggie and Hamilton make some ice cold lemonade to sell. They don't have any customers, but they sure enjoy drinking the lemonade!

It's a superb day at the beach and Sidestep the crab is showing Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast how to walk crab-style. The Beast gets a little carried away and accidentally knocks over Sidestep's little house. Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast build Sidestep a beautiful new sand castle to live in and all is forgiven.

Hamilton isn't very happy when the Beast says he snorts when he laughs. In fact, he goes into his box and won't come out to play. Maggie and the Beast lure him out again by making paper hats.

7. Pack Up Your Troubles

Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast are having a bad day. Maggie's drawing is ruined, the Beast is having difficulty with his origami, and Hamilton accidentally squashes a whole batch of muffins. They decide to send their troubles off to sea in little paper boats. After the boats are made, however, they realize they don't really have any troubles at all!

8. Rub-A-Dub-Dub

It's just rained and the Beast can't resist sliding through the puddles, making him the ferociously muddy beast! Maggie decides it's high time the Beast took a bath, so he starts sudsing up in the River of Dreams while Hamilton washes his spots out by hand. When the spots dry, however, they end up all wrinkly! The Beast can't wear wrinkly spots! Maggie comes up with the solution - they simply press the spots flat in a great big book.

9. The Big Carrot

Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast come upon a gigantic carrot, and a very strange little rabbit named Nedley who speaks in rhymes.

10. Out of Water Beast

It's hot! Very hot! It's even too hot to walk to the beach. Fortunately Hamilton has an inflatable wading pool they can play in, but the Beast is too big to fit into it. How can they all have fun and cool off in the little pool? The solution: the Beast holds the water hose pointing up like a fountain and Maggie and Hamilton use him as a big spotted water slide!

11. Rain, Rain, Come and Stay

It always rains in the Land of the Umbrella Trees, so the three friends are sure to dress up in their slickers and boots to travel there. While he's splashing around, the Beast loses his beloved red boot in a deep, deep puddle. Time to get out the rods and go boot fishing!

12. Hamilton the Ham

On a trip to Mooville, Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast meet the Moo Sisters, a trio of singing cows. The Moo Sisters think Hamilton has a beautiful voice and egg him on to sing a song. Hamilton is very shy at first, but once he gets going he turns out to be a real ham!

13. This Little Pig

Air Date: 2000-06-09

Hamilton wakes up with a bad cold and has to stay in bed. His friends' efforts to nurse him back to health are just bothering him and keeping him awake. In the end Maggie and the Beast compose a special Get Well poem for their sick friend, then tiptoe away to let him sleep.

14. Hide and Go Beast

It's not easy to find a hiding spot for hide-and-go-seek when you're a very large and a very spotted ferocious beast. After a lot of thought the Beast finally comes up with the PERFECT hiding spot - in the pumpkin patch - and nobody can find him!

15. One, Two, Three

Air Date: 2000-06-09

The three friends certainly have their hands full when Maggie brings her three baby nephews to Nowhere Land. It's hard work running after triplets, feeding them and keeping them clean, but the hardest job of all is just telling them apart. When it's time for the babies to go back home, Hamilton and the Beast are all worn out!

16. What's in a Bag?

Air Date: 2000-06-12

Maggie has a bag full of very unusual jelly beans. For starters, they won't stop arguing over which colour jelly bean is the best. Hamilton and Maggie try washing off their colours to help them get along, but the jelly beans aren't very happy being all the same. Hamilton solves the problem by re-dying them back the way they were.

17. Beastly Picture

Maggie has painted a wonderful portrait of the Beast. When the Beast accidentally ruins the painting, he tries to paint a replacement, but it's very hard to paint with big beastly paws. His artwork sure doesn't fool Maggie, but she loves it just the same.

18. The Push-Me Popper

Air Date: 2000-06-12

Hamilton has won a prize in a cooking contest - it's a push-me popper toy, and it immediately becomes Hamilton's most prized possession. The Beast plays with it without Hamilton's permission and accidentally breaks it, which causes friction between the two friends. Luckily Maggie is able to fix the toy and they all take turns playing with it.

19. Sun Spots

It's a lovely day at the beach and the Beast is having so much fun he forgets to put on his sun block. Uh oh! He gets a beastly sunburn, and turns all red! And when Hamilton sees him in the water he thinks he's a sea monster!

20. Say Cheese

When Maggie gives the Beast a framed picture of the two of them, Hamilton thinks she likes the Beast better than him. Maggie reassures Hamilton that she likes him just as much as she likes the Beast. He may not be big and have spots, but he does have lovely velvety pink skin. Cheered up, Hamilton agrees to let the Beast take a picture of them with his camera.

21. Sailing Away

Air Date: 2000-06-13

Maggie has a new telescope and decides they should go on a sailing adventure - to find the mysterious Secret Island. They set off in a big paper boat and, with the help of a seagull, finally reach the island, which turns out to be very, very small. They decide to keep Secret Island a secret.

22. Hamilton's Pet

Air Date: 2000-06-14

Hamilton finds a friendly little fish in the River of Dreams and decides to keep him for a pet. He puts Fishy in a baby carriage and takes him for a walk, but Fishy looks very unhappy. Realizing that his pet is homesick, Hamilton decides to take him back to the River and say farewell.

23. Slooow Motion

One day Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast find themselves on a strange beach crowded with turtles. Tired out from playing Follow the Maggie, they decide to play Follow the Turtle for a change. This forces them to sloooooow dooooown, and they start to notice all the little things on the beach that they never noticed before!

24. The Big Duck

Who is that big duck in the River of Dreams, and why is she following Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast? Hamilton and the Beast are a little scared of her, but Maggie makes friends with the Duck and finds out she just wants to give them a ride across the river.

25. Flim-Flam-A Fiddle

Air Date: 2000-06-15

The Beast always wins at checkers, Hamilton always wins at croquet, and it's making them argue. Maggie suggests they play a brand new game she's made up called Flim-Flam-a-Fiddle. This game involves jumping, crawling, somersaulting and lots of shouting - and best of all there are no winners and no losers!

26. A Beastly Garden

Air Date: 2000-06-15

When Maggie brings a watermelon to Nowhere Land, the Beast decides to plant the seeds and grow his very own watery-melon garden. The Beast tends his garden carefully, watering it and watching over it day and night. Soon his efforts are rewarded with three nice big watermelons - one for each.

27. Spring Cleaning

Hamilton is doing his spring cleaning, which he says is the most fun thing to do on a spring day. The Beast tries to help out, but ends up making a big mess. Hamilton sends Maggie and the Beast off to clean up the rest of Nowhere Land. This turns out to be a pretty big job, and not much fun at all.

28. Three Little Ghosts

Air Date: 2000-06-16

It's a dark and spooky night, and the Beast has dressed up as a ghost to scare his friends. What he doesn't know is that Hamilton and Maggie are dressed up as ghosts too. And when they meet up with a fourth ghost (their friend Nedley) they all get a good scare!

29. The King of Nowhere Land

Air Date: 2000-06-16

Maggie's brought a crown to Nowhere Land and Hamilton volunteers to be the king. Once he is crowned, however, he realizes that kings don't get to do anything fun. He finally abdicates to bake some apple pies.

30. The Big Scare

Air Date: 2000-06-16

The Beast has a big scare when he sees a mouse! Maggie and Hamilton make friends with Pippi the mouse who, it turns out, is just as scared of the Beast as the Beast is of him. Once they get to know each other, however, they aren't scared anymore, and the Beast gives Pippi a ride back to his home in Cheese Land.

31. Mr. Shivers

Air Date: 2000-06-19

Maggie's got a magic snow globe that makes it snow in Nowhere Land! The three friends build a snowman, who comes to life as the very jovial Mr. Shivers. When the sun comes out they must escort Mr. Shivers to the top of Highest Mountain, where it's always snowy and he won't have to worry about melting.

32. Nap Time

Air Date: 2000-06-19

Tired out from playing, Hamilton announces that it's nap time. They lie down, they toss and turn... they just can't seem to fall asleep! The Dream Sheep come to the rescue, bleating a lullaby so soothing that it puts the sheep themselves to sleep. Finally everyone is slumbering peacefully - except for a disgruntled Hamilton.

33. Up, Up and Away

Air Date: 2000-06-19

It's very windy - a perfect day for kite-flying, if they only had a kite. Maggie and Hamilton start to build one, and the Beast wants to help out, but he's not very good with strings and tape. In the end however it's the Beast who saves the day by contributing his spots to make the tail.

34. Louder! Louder!

Air Date: 2000-06-20

During a contest to see who can shout the loudest (causing the loudest echo), the Beast roars a little too ferociously and loses his voice. This is a very serious problem - how can he be ferocious without a roar? Maggie helps him practice his ferocious facial expressions while Hamilton makes him some special blueberry tea that will help him get his voice back.

35. Once Upon a Time

Air Date: 2000-06-20

The Beast wants to hear his favourite story again, for the umpteenth time, but Hamilton is very tired of reading it to him! Maggie suggests they act it out instead, but when they do, the familiar tale starts to take on some strange new twists. Hamilton is troubled at first by the changes, but he gets in the spirit of things as they improvise a much more exciting story than the original.

36. Maggie the Mommy

Maggie is dressed up like a Mommy, with high heels, a hat and real perfume! She recruits Hamilton to be the baby in her baby carriage, and the Beast to be the family dog.

37. Hamilton's Box Car

Air Date: 2000-06-21

Its time to go to the beach! Hamilton has built a cardboard box car and wants to drive there rather than riding along with his friends. Maggie and the Beast spend the afternoon swimming, but Hamilton never shows up. When they finally find him by the side of the road with his car in pieces, Hamilton has to admit that the best way to get around Nowhere Land is not by car, but by Ferocious Beast!

38. Happy Birthday to All of Us

Air Date: 2000-06-21

Maggie, Hamilton and the Beast all have the same birthday, so they¹ve planned a very big, triple birthday party. The Beast is embarrassed by his humble gifts to his friends, but is cheered up when Hamilton and Maggie love his presents. Hamilton is upset that he hasn't grown since their last birthday so he is wearing big awkward shoes to make himself taller. Maggie tells him he may not be taller but he's certainly wiser.

39. The Really Big Show

The three friends decide to put on a show for their friends. Hamilton is doing magic tricks, Maggie will recite a poem, but the Beast is being very secretive about his act.

1. Hamilton Blows His Horn

Hamilton is in ecstasy when he receives a trombone as a present, and he plays it non-stop. When he is forced to stop, Maggie comforts him and points out that his voice is a very lovely musical instrument.

2. The Big Cheese

Air Date: 2001-04-07

When Rudy hurts his foot in the Big Cheese, he refuses to move it, so Beast and Maggie go off to find him medical attention. While they are gone, Hamilton catches his sweater on a hook and Rudy has to overcome his pain to rescue his friend Hamilton.

3. Roll Over Archie

Air Date: 2001-04-07

When Maggie, Beast and Hamilton come across a toy Scotty dog, they turn him on and play until he runs out of steam. Then, when they replace his batteries, he proves to have too much energy.

4. Desert Treasure

Air Date: 2001-04-08

Our three friends, Maggie, Beast and Hamilton head off into the desert to find a treasure. While there, they meet up with a snake and make friends with a camel named Kalee. Kalee takes them to a wonderous Lemonade Spring.

5. Morning in Nowhere Land

We watch Hamilton and Beast go through their morning routines until Maggie comes and joins them, ready to start a new day!

6. The Missing Sweater

Air Date: 2001-04-08

When Hamilton lends his favorite sweater to Nedley, he has a rough time getting it back from him. Fortunately, Maggie comes up with a plan.

7. Just a Little Off the Top

Air Date: 2001-04-21

Maggie brings a whole load of barbershop items, and she clips hair and buff nails. When Rudy and Nedley arrive to complete a foursome with Beast and Hamilton, a barbershop quartet is formed, complete with the works.

8. Little Pig Lost

While blowing up some balloons, Hamilton gets pulled up into the sky. Maggie and Beast become concerned when they can't find him. A fretful and teary Hamilton realizes that he's lost, but he then comes up with a way to signal Maggie and Beast, and everyone is happily brought back together.

9. The Cecil Bunions Detective Agency

When the Cecil Bunions Detective badges finally arrive in via mail, Maggie, Hamilton and Beast go out to figure out some elusive mysteries.

10. The Jelly Bean Express

Nowhere Land gets its own train when Hamilton, Beast and Maggie put out the tracks. The Jelly Bean team becomes the passengers, and the Nowhere Land Express makes it's way to Sand Castle Beach.

11. Let's Play Croquet

While playing croquet, Hamilton, Beast and Maggie quickly lose their croquet balls in the grassy meadow. They then come up with an ingenious plan to use the Dream Sheep to help them mow the grass.

12. Little Ducky

When a large egg hatches near our infamous trio, a tiny duckling thinks that Beast is its mother, and it follows him everywhere. When they come across the Big Duck, they discover that she is the duckling's real mother.

13. Don't Dump That Junk

When a flood whisks away Hamilton's box, our trio sets out on an adventure to rescue it with the help of the Jelly Bean Team.

14. Soup Bowls and Roller Coasters

When Beast takes off to Turkey Town to leave Hamilton and Maggie to their knitting, he encounters some turkeys that refuse to leave him alone. In the end, Maggie and Hamilton find the Beast unable to leave and form a fence around the turkeys.

18. The Home of the Kindly Giant

Maggie, Hamilton and Beast bring the triplets to the land of the Kindly Giant where everything is twice its normal size. When the triplets fall into a giant blueberry pie, our trio has to figure out a way to get them out.

19. The Funny Smile

When Beast loses a tooth, he becomes too embarrassed to pose for a Nowhere Land scrapbook that Maggie is trying to put together. Eventually she and Hamilton convince him that he looks just as ferocious without the tooth.

When Beast begins pretending to be Hamilton, it prompts a game in which the three of them imitate several of the Nowhere Land regulars and try to "Guess who I am."

When Beast punctures a beach ball, our trio goes to the beach ball factory where they meet their friend Nedley and try to get a new ball. However, once there they discover that something is wrong so they stay until they get to the bottom of the problem.

When Hamilton, Beast and Maggie try to have a friendly picnic, they are overcome with ants and have to find a clever way to get rid of them.

When Maggie gets Beast the rubber ball he has always wanted, he becomes obsessed with it. However, when the triplets come over for a birthday party and he hasn't anything to give them, he generously gives them his beautiful new ball.

Hamilton, Maggie, Beast, Rudy and the Jelly Bean Team all visit Little Dodge City to hold a square dance and find some bad guys.

When Hamilton builds a raft, our trio sets sail into the middle of the pond. However when the wind dies down, Beast comes up with a new way of getting them back to shore.

When a big brown hat blows on top of Hamilton's box, he builds a restaurant inside it and serves Beast and Maggie an exotic meal. However he ends up closing earlier than expected when he finds out the hat belongs to the Kindly Giant.

When our friends decide to camp out, Beast begins to think there is a bear in the woods and becomes nervous. To calm his nerves, Maggie and Hamilton use fireflies to light up the campsite. This works until a bear invades their site, an adorable teddy bear that is.

30. The Leaning Tower of Carrot

When Beast leans against Nedley's birdhouse, he tilts it and all the birds flee. Unable to straighten it, he enlists the aid of Maggie and Hamilton who get a big potato from the Kindly Giant's patch and use it to right the birdhouse.

When Hamilton makes a batch of gingerbread men, they come alive and our trio chases them all over Nowhere Land. When Maggie, Hamilton and Beast finally catch them, they figure out somewhere for them to stay.

Hamilton decides to have a contest to see who has the best collectible. When everyone votes for himself or herself, they all win.

33. The Missing Bass

When Hamilton comes across a beautiful violin, he falls in love with it. So when a cool cat named B.B. Katz claims the violin, Hamilton is reluctant to give it up. However, he quickly snaps out of it when the two end up playing beautiful music together.

34. Message in a Bottle

When Maggie, Hamilton and Beast find a message in a bottle, they eagerly follow the instructions, which will lead them to a treasure. When they finally end up at a beautiful picnic spread, they realize that Hamilton has set up the whole thing.

Maggie, Hamilton, Beast and Rudy venture off to Cake Town and discover cakes galore! And they taste even better than they look, but is it possible to have too much?

When Hamilton discovers that the letter ‘H’ on his sweater is missing, he is beside himself. Maggie tries to comfort him but to no avail. Luckily they discover that Hamilton has been wearing his sweater inside out and the ‘H’ has been there all along.

A winter snowfall blankets Nowhere Land and we follow our trio through a series of activities that eventually take them to the frozen pond where the Moo Sisters sing and help Hamilton overcome his apprehension of skating.

Maggie, Hamilton and Beast go for a ride in a hot air balloon, but Beast is so scared he has to close his eyes. Maggie and Hamilton entice Beast into opening his eyes by playing a game of ‘I Spy’.

After Hamilton inadvertently grows a huge beanstalk, he climbs up it and visits Mr. Moon. While there, he realizes the moon is depressed, so he, B.B. Katz and the Moo Sisters sing Mr. Moon a song to cheer him up.
