Jim Henson's Animal Show with Stinky and Jake
The show was hosted by Jake, a jovial polar bear, and Stinky, his skunk friend. Other main characters included Armstrong the Chicken Hawk, Ollie the Tapir, Bunnie Bear, Tizzy the Bee, Yves St. La Roache, Rhonda Rat, and Dullard the Aardvark. Structured as a talk show, the hosts interviewed two guest animals in each episode. The animals talked about themselves and showed clips of their real-life counterparts.

Stinky wants to be fast like the Cheetah and the Gazelle and trains to run fast.
2. The Dolphin and the Fruit Bat

The Animal Show's featured guests have echo-location.

Stinky's mother is going to appear at the end of the show since the featured guests are good moms.

In this ocean themed episode, the mentioning of a shark named Achilles being interviewed freaks out Stinky, Ollie, and Armstrong since they think he's going to eat them. Jake tells them that Achilles is a nice shark.

Stinky thinks that skunks might be endangered since the rhinoceros and the gorilla are on the endangered species list.
12. The Sea Otter and the Vulture

The sea otter is okay with Stinky, but it's the vulture that scares him.

Stinky gives Jake a new pair of glasses so he could keep up with the guests of that day's show, the owl and the octopus (whom are both known for their great eyesight).

Stinky brings Mr. Tree to the show, but worries about him being hurt because of what are featured guest use the trees for.

This is one of those horns and antlers episodes which the bighorn sheep has horns while the red deer has antlers.

Stinky gets help from our featured guests to dig Jake a hole.

Our featured guests have amazing tails, so Stinky decides to give Jake one since he has a small tail.

Jake's cousin Bunnie starts to work with Armstrong while Stinky and Jake interview our featured guests in another animal family themed episode.
2. The Whale and the Soldier Ant
Air Date:
Stinky and Jake learn about size from a large whale and a tiny ant. Stinky tries different ways to be big by exercising, eating food, and walking on stilts.
3. The Tarantula and the Mole
Air Date:
Stinky plans on having the show's guests visit his burrow under the studio. When he discovers that tarantulas are poisonous, he decides not to invite Natasha. Stinky interviews Morely the Mole in the burrow and they watch the video through a periscope.
4. The Toad and the Elephant Seal
Air Date:
Stinky and Jake learn from a toad and an elephant seal about their loud noise. Stinky makes his own loud noise to attract a female skunk mate.
5. The Arctic Fox and the Camel
Air Date:
Both our featured guests live in different environments like Jake's arctic fox friend lives in the arctic while the camel lives in the desert. So Stinky has Bunnie work the thermostat.
6. The Hippopotamus and the Cape Buffalo
Air Date:
Knowing that our featured guests are dangerous animals that don't eat meat, Stinky drops a cage around himself and Jake with no way out.
7. The Wasp and the Blue-Footed Booby

Our colorful guests gives Stinky the idea to make Jake colorful.

In another horns and antlers themed episode, Stinky tries to gain a hat that everyone else has.

The talents of our featured guests reminds Jake of his talent of ice-skating. Unfortunatley, everyone starts doing it.

Stinky and Jake plan to start their own herd because our featured guests live in herds.

Stinky gets a palm tree before interviewing our featured guests who live in trees.

On Bunnie's birthday, Stinky and Jake interview our endangered species guests.

Stinky thinks that our arctic guests might know Santa Clause. Later, the reindeer tells Stinky if he wishes, he'll get a present.
2. The Crab and the Snail

Stinky decides to order a shell from Shelly's shells because of our shelled guests.
3. The Owl and the Frog
Air Date:
Stinky turns off the lights because of our nocturnal guests, but the darkness later reminds Jake of the dark nights of winter as he falls into a winter hibernation.
4. The Indian Elephant and the Human
Air Date:
Stinky and Jake interview the Indian Elephant which is one of the largest animals in the world. After that, they learn a lot from a human named Dave like about automobiles, slippers, hoses, and how humans watch their show.
5. The Pelican and the Flamingo

Stinky wants to eat like a skunk than a pig, so he gets advice from our beaked guests.
6. The Warthog and the Baboon
Air Date:
Stinky wants to go to Smellyworld instead of visiting the brushland of Africa where our featured guests are from.
7. The Mouse
Air Date:
Stinky plans a surprise for Stanley the Mouse after the show. Unfortunately, he doesn't like surprises. What's worse is that Stinky's invited guests Mr. Owl, Mrs. Snake, and Mrs. Fox want to eat him.
8. The Monitor Lizard and the Crocodile
Air Date:
After Jake gets hit by a sand bag from a Sand Bag Tree, Stinky decides he needs protection like our tough-skinned guests.
9. The Albatross and the Hummingbird
Air Date:
Stinky wants to fly like our bird guests, but his wings are too big and he puts them on Jake.
10. The Whale
Air Date:
Stinky and Jake interview Andrew the Humpback Whale in a leaky tank that gets worse when it start to flood everywhere.
11. The Spider Monkey and the Lemur
Air Date:
Stinky tries to enter Jake into a tree-swinging competition since our featured guests move around in trees.
12. The Honeybee and the Honeypossum
Air Date:
Armstrong is allergic to flowers since our featured guest can survive from the nector. Things get worse when Stinky and Jake learn that if they don't win the award for Best Shows hosted by animals (especially Skunks and Polar Bears), our featured judges (a crocodile, cape buffalo, and vulture) will eat them.
13. The Wasp and the Ant

Our insect guest don't get along when each one talks about themselves.
14. The Coyote and the Red Fox
Air Date:
Stinky plans to throws a pest party at Jake's den with our pesty guests as partygoers.
15. The Grasshopper Mouse and the Stoat
Air Date:
Stinky thinks our vicious guests aren't vicious until he learns from them and starts acting vicious himself.
16. The Fish
Air Date:
Stinky tries to stump Larry the Fish of which fish isn't real.
17. The Pika and the Chamois
Air Date:
Stinky tries to make our mountainous guests feel at home.
18. The Eagle
Air Date:
Stinky and Jake invite Sam the Eagle to talk about his kind. Unfortunately, he didn't like how eagles live and leaves resulting in Armstrong taking over. Armstrong thinks eagles upstage chickenhawks and doesn't do the song. Sam returns because he doesn't have any money to get his car out of the parking garage and Stinky and Jake handle it if he does a song. During the song, Armstrong appears and tells him that his kind upstaged him and Sam mentions how good chickenhawks are which makes Armstrong happy.
19. The Jaguar and the Tortoise
Air Date:
Stinky resigns from the food chain and tries to form a resistance against it and break the food chain. At the same time, our featured guests interview our food chain guests and learn that the food chain can be broken if one animal becomes extinct.
20. The Spoonbill and the Salmon
Air Date:
Stinky wants to go migrating with our migration guests, but there's a problem with Stinky in stuff that they can do that he can't.
21. The Colobus Monkey and the Flying Squirrel
Air Date:
Stinky tries to keep our gliding guests on the ground, but he gets stuck to Quincy the Flying Squirrel via glue.
22. The Rattlesnake
Air Date:
Stinky and Jake learn a lot about snakes from Kiki the Rattlesnake. Stinky thinks that Kiki can swallow Jake. But she didn't swallow him, she swallowed all of Armstrong's Chocky Hawkies (a hawk-shaped chocolate on a popsicle stick).
23. The Hornbill and the Woodpecker
Air Date:
Armstrong tries to get the perfect beak to match our beaked guests, but none of the fake beaks work.
24. The Giant Otter and the Mink
Air Date:
Bunnie wants female friends and she befriends Stinky and Jake's female aquatic guests Sandy the Giant Otter and Melody the Mink and invites the two to a sleepover.
25. The Mongoose and the Secretary Bird
Air Date:
Ernie the Mongoose, one of our snake-eating guests, becomes a nusiance to Stinky and Jake when he doesn't leave after his interview. Ernie interviews Kyle the Secretary bird and they get into a fight over who is better...a fight Stinky and Jake break up. It's revealed that his wife and kids are visiting his mom and needed someplace to stay.
26. The Gorilla and the Lion
Air Date:
In another family-themed episode, Stinky has Bunnie, Armstrong, Eve, Rhonda, and Dunnard together after the ""We are one big happy family"" song performed by Malcolm the Lion and the Animals.
