Alesya was looking forward to going to KL to look for her mother. Worried about her father's health, she confided in Cikgu Atiqah about her father's sickness. On the day that they were to leave for KL, Didie had another panic attack which thwarted their plans.

Didie agreed to see the doctor recommended by Atiqah and was diagnosed as suffering from severe depression. Didie was reminded of his late mother's wish for Alesya to meet her mother. As they were about to depart for KL, Didie and Alesya met Sasha, a troubled runaway.
