Twenty Twelve

A mock-documentary following the challenges - both personal and professional - faced by the team responsible for delivering the biggest show on Earth: the 2012 Olympics. From getting a busload of non-English speaking Brazilians from A to B, who to appoint to run the Cultural Olympiad and what to do when the much-vaunted wind turbines won't turn because there's no wind, it's all in a day's work for the men and women whose job it is to stage the greatest sporting event in the world.

1. Countdown

With time ticking inexorably downwards the marketing team come up with a major public event to mark the 1,000 days to go milestone. A huge clock designed by a contemporary British artist. The only problem is that the clock has a potentially disastrous design flaw which no-one seems to have noticed.

2. Visitors from Rio

Air Date: 2011-03-21

A visiting group of dignitaries from Rio (the Olympic host in 2016) is in London for the week. For Head of Deliverance Ian Fletcher and his team the mission is simple. They have to get them across London in time to meet Lord Coe for an official reception at the Olympic Stadium. What can possibly go wrong?

3. Roman Remains

Air Date: 2011-03-28

It's another challenging week for Head of Deliverance, Ian Fletcher and his team. Roman remains have been discovered on the site of the Aquatics Center, forcing them to contemplate radical last minute modifications to the design of the building.

4. Raising the Bar

Air Date: 2011-04-04

Dave Wellbeck is an ex-athlete, double Olympic silver medalist and in theory a natural choice as Brand Ambassador for Raising the Bar - a scheme to get young people inspired by Olympic ideals. He's hard working, conscientious and loyal but the truth is that he has about as much charisma as a dimmer switch. Ian and Siobhan have different views on how to deal with the problem.

5. Cultural Curator

There are only three applicants for the post of Curator of the Cultural Olympiad so how difficult can it be to select the best candidate? Ian and the team are about to find out when they are forced to go through a series of spectacular u-turns.

6. Equestrian Controversy

Air Date: 2011-04-18

The decision to hold equestrian events in Greenwich Park is one of the most controversial choices made by the Olympic authorities. Among the local residents against it is self-style maverick film director Tony Ward. Over thirty years have passed since his one and only successful film, so he's had a lot of time to think about how angry he is and to plan his campaign of protest.

The documentary cameras continue to follow the men and women responsible for delivering the London Olympic Games as they paddle increasingly hard to keep the games on track and on budget. The Algerian Olympic team threatens to boycott the Games after discovering that the Shared Belief Center does not face Mecca.

Air Date: 2012-04-06

The second half of a very long day. The Algerians issue a deadline of midnight for a solution to their demand for a Shared Belief Center which faces Mecca, while the French are now threatening to pull out of the Games if a separate mosque is built. The team has to come up with an idea that will please everyone.

3. Clarence House

Air Date: 2012-04-13

A decision must be made about the future of the Olympic Stadium, and Clarence House has asked the ODC to look at ways of linking the Twenty Twelve Olympics with the Queen's Diamond Jubilee – is "Jubilympics" the perfect branding solution?

4. The Rapper

Air Date: 2012-04-20

Siobhan's team design a major sexual health campaign, complete with a rap song ("Get It On"), which may upset the Catholic competitors.

5. Catastrophisation

Air Date: 2012-07-10

Ian chairs the final meeting of the Special Catastrophisation Unit. When someone gets caught modifying the Olympic starting pistols to fire live rounds, the news must be handled delicately.

6. Inclusivity Day

Air Date: 2012-07-17

The Olympic Deliverance Committee plans the launch of "Inclusivity Day" in London on the same ady as Seb Coe's "Diversity Day" in Oldham. Siobhan's team devises a viral campaign to change the face of women's football.
