Superboy
Superboy is a half-hour live-action television series based on Kal-El's early years as Superboy. It depicted Superboy's adventures during his college years, his meetings with Lex Luthor and his romance with Lana Lang. The series was brought to the screen by executive producers Ilya and Alexander Salkind, who were the producers of the first three Superman movies and the 1984 Supergirl movie.

Lana's father, an archeologist, comes to the university with what he thinks is a cursed relic. Lex Luthor then steals the jewel in order to sell it to the highest bidder.
2. A Kind of Princess

Clark falls for Sara, the daughter of a crime boss. Both Clark and Sara get stuck in the middle between rival crime syndicates, and it is up to Superboy to save everyone.
3. Back to Oblivion
Air Date: 1988-10-22
TJ goes to a scrap yard to investigate strange things that have happened there. When he arrives, he is trapped in a crushing machine by the old man, Mr. Wagner, who owns the scrap yard.
4. The Russian Exchange Student
Air Date: 1988-10-29
When a scientist's formula to improve the efficiency of gasoline is nearly destroyed, a Russian exchange student named Natasha is accused of sabotaging the computer that the formula was stored on.
5. Countdown to Nowhere

The world first learns of the new hero, Superboy, when he rescues Lana Lang from kidnapper Roscoe Williams (Doug Barr).
6. Bringing Down the House
Air Date: 1988-11-12
A rock star, Judd Faust, wants the amusement park and puts everyone in danger when the owner refuses to sell it to him. Lana falls in love with Judd but learns of his true nature when he takes her away one night and puts her in a torture device.

A Superboy impersonator is robbing banks and jewelry stores to get a million dollars so he can marry Florida's beauty queen.
8. The Fixer
Air Date: 1988-11-26
Clark discovers that Luthor is trying to fix some of the school's basketball games so that he make a killing in betting. And the way he does that is, that he has a photo of the team's star player in a compromising position that if it got out it would ruin his career.
9. The Alien Solution
Air Date: 1988-12-03
A strange cloud-like alien who can take over others bodies comes to earth hoping to steal Superboy's body so he can add it to his collection of warriors.
10. Troubled Waters
Air Date: 1988-12-10
A businessman wants to buy all the farms in the Smallville area during an agricultural depression. Mr. Kent wants to find out why. Kenderson, the businessman, has something to hide and tries to kill Mr. Kent but he is unsuccessful.
11. The Invisible People
Air Date: 1989-01-21
A large group of homeless people are living in front of a beach club on a Florida beach. They were promised jobs by the wealthy beach club owner, who never gave them anything.
12. Kryptonite Kills
Air Date: 1989-01-28
A Kryptonite meteor falls in Addis Ababa and is sent to Shuster for study. It turns up in Clark's class on minerals. There, Clark feels the pain of kryptonite for the first time.
13. Revenge of the Alien (1)
Air Date: 1989-02-04
The alien from "The Alien Solution" escapes after a thief steals the canister containing him. He wants revenge on Superboy for destroying his collection of warrior bodies.
14. Revenge of the Alien (2)
Air Date: 1989-02-11
Now controlling Pa Kent, the alien makes his move to get revenge. He kidnaps Lana and holds her hostage on a rooftop near Shuster University.
15. Stand Up and Get Knocked Down
Air Date: 1989-02-18
TJ finds his friend Michael dead outside of the Bonkerz comedy club. TJ wants to find out what happened to him, so he goes to the club's amateur night.
16. Meet Mr. Mxyzptlk
Air Date: 1989-02-25
Superboy is called on to help remove a totem pole from the ground so it can be studied. When he arrives, the totem won't budge.
17. Birdwoman of the Swamps
Air Date: 1989-03-04
When a bulldozer is turned over at a construction site, TJ and Clark decide to investigate. Clark meets an old Indian woman who believes the birds turned over the bulldozer.
18. Terror from the Blue
Air Date: 1989-03-11
After witnessing a police officer being gunned down by a corrupt colleague, Lana is targeted by crooked cops.
19. War of the Species
Air Date: 1989-03-18
T.J. discovers a government created robot that killed someone. Superboy manages to save him. When a government official tells them that everything is classified they leave. Later the man confronts the creator who seems have other plans. He later grabs T.J. setting a trap for Superboy.
20. Little Hercules
Air Date: 1989-04-15
Clark and TJ visit a young high school genius named Billy Hercules who has been offered a scholarship by Shuster University. Clark befriends the boy, with whom he can relate as both are different and out of place.
21. Mutant
Air Date: 1989-04-22
Clark witnesses the kidnapping of Professor Craig Lipcott, a famous nuclear scientist. As Superboy, he follows the kidnappers to a rooftop and sees them enter a strange ship just before he is attacked by a powerful ray that leaves him disoriented.
22. The Phantom of the Third Division
Air Date: 1989-04-29
Jonathan Kent is being stalked by a man with whom he fought alongside during the Korean War. As Clark, Lana and T.J. come to Smallville for a visit, Mr. Kent is lured to the Smallville hospital and kidnapped by the man.
23. Black Flamingo
Air Date: 1989-05-06
An attempted assassination of a senator leads Superboy to a mysterious nightclub.
24. Hollywood
Air Date: 1989-05-13
Professor Zugar, invents a time machine and sends himself and Superboy back in time to Hollywood in the 1930s. Superboy meets a famous actor, Victoria Letour, and discovers that she is being stalked by men who want to kill her.
25. Succubus
Air Date: 1989-05-20
A beautiful vampire-like creature seeks to drain Superboy of his life force and seduces TJ as part of her plot.
26. Luthor Unleashed
Air Date: 1989-05-27
Luthor steals a powerful weapon developed by the army and prepares to sell it to weapon dealers. Later, while Luthor is working in the Shuster laboratory, he causes an explosion, and Superboy saves him by blowing the chemical fumes out of the building.

Lex Luthor returns, kidnaps Lana, forces her to marry him, and assumes the identity of a doctor that created a weapon that could paralyze Superboy forever.

Superboy is aided by Professor Peterson and the two believe that he will one day be able to use his legs and powers again. Lex Luthor taunts the superhero with his new bride, Lana.

A heart attack patient, who is also an escaped convict, transforms into a cyborg with a heart powered by kryptonite.
4. Young Dracula

Superboy and Lana get caught in the middle of a battle between two vampires.
5. Nightmare Island

Trapped on a deserted island after Andy's motorboat sinks, Clark gets stripped of his powers by an alien who also kidnaps Lana.
6. Bizarro... The Thing of Steel
Air Date: 1989-11-11
Bizarro, an imperfect duplicate of Superboy, is accidentally created when the real Superboy steps in front of Professor Peterson's new duplicating ray.
7. The Battle with Bizarro

Superboy battles to free Lana from Bizarro while Prof. Peterson uses his duplicating ray on kryptonite to create Bizarro Kryptonite with the hope that it will end the Bizarro menace.

Superboy and Lana pretend to be the adoptive parents of Mr. Mxyzptlk when he returns from the fifth dimension to stop the havoc caused when a giant follows him seeking revenge.

A doll belonging to a shy waitress comes to life and turns her into a sorceress and then they both work to make Superboy fall in love with her.

Hoping to impress Lana, a fellow student invents an energy capsule that makes him a superhero, but he is unable to control his new found powers.

A sorceress called Tiger Eye captures Lana and turns her into a snake to lure Superboy into attempting a rescue so she can ensnare him in a spell and make him her own.

Bizarro returns from deep space and enters into a deadly pact with Lex Luthor. Lex will "create" a bride for Bizarro in exchange for a supply of kryptonite which can kill Superboy.

Bizarro has fallen deeper into Lex Luthor's plot to kill Superboy in exchange for a bride.

An anonymous letter leads Superboy to Darla's hideout, where she has Lana locked in a meatlocker. She's holding Lana to blackmail Superboy, so he'll bring Luthor back through a portal (created by Dr. Winger) that took him to an alternate world. This alternate world is dark, and chaos has erupted as a result of Luthor's murder by an alternate Superboy. As Superboy tries to return Luthor, he and an alternate Dr. Winger attack him with kryptonite.
6. Roads Not Taken (2)
Air Date: 1990-11-10
Superboy jumps through the portal to escape the kryptonite assault. In this world, he is the "Sovereign," a dictator that rules using fear tactics. Lana and Luthor, lovers in this world, are leading a revolution to overthrow the Sovereign. Lana arms herself with kryptonite bomb to destroy the Sovereign, hurting both versions of Superboy. But when she sets off the bomb, killing them both, the first alternate Superboy rescues the original Superboy from the kryptonite-laden shockwave. When all is done, Superboy destroys the portal.
7. The Sons of Icarus
Air Date: 1990-11-17
Capital City finds itself in the middle of a mystery as random fires keep appearing all over the city. When Superboy investigates he discovers a connection to an ancient tribe of flying warriors called the Katia.
8. Carnival

When Superboy discovers a mysterious carnival that is stealing the souls of its patrons, his moral and physical courage is put to the test.
