Appleseed XIII

Following World War V, a global-scale conflict fought with non-nuclear weapons that almost halved the earth's population, the city-nation of Olympus stands as a beacon of hope in a world of chaos. The utopian metropolis is governed by Gaia, a vast artificial intelligence, and administered by genetically engineered humanoids known as bioroids. Although Olympus seems like a peaceful city on the surface, racial (human vs. bioroids vs. cyborgs), religious, and political conflicts lurk underneath -threatening to overturn the delicately balanced peace of this so-called utopia.

Deunan, Briareos, and the rest of the Olympus's ES.W.A.T force fend off an Argonaut attack.

2. The Augean Stables

Air Date: 2011-08-10

Deunan and Briareos are sent to end a hostage situation on a plane with 3000 passengers. But when they arrive the entire plane is eerily empty.

3. The Ceryneian Hind

Air Date: 2011-09-07

A surge in bioroid suicides has caused a stir throughout Olympus. Deunan steps in to investigate this mysterious situation.

4. The Cattle of Geryon

Air Date: 2011-11-23

A Kottos robot on the police force malfunctions in an unexpected way after meeting a little girl.

5. The Cretan Bull

Air Date: 2011-12-21

While on a security assignment, members of ES.W.A.T. are infected by something that cause madness and tremendous bloodthirst. Not even Deunan is immune to its effects.

6. The Erymanthian Boar

Air Date: 2012-01-25

Deunan embarks on a solo mission to infiltrate the Argonauts and learn more about an enormous and extremely high-tech Landmate.

7. The Stymphalean Birds

As the Stymphalean Landmate approaches Olympus with a nuclear warhead, Briareos and ES.W.A.T. rush to diffuse the situation.

8. The Mares of Diomedes

Deunan is assigned to provide security to a Poseidon ambassador of goodwill aboard a submarine. But things go awry when the submarine malfunctions and other passengers begin to die mysteriously.

9. The Girdle of Hippolyta

Air Date: 2012-07-08

A goodwill ambassador arrives from Poseidon... except she looks and sounds exactly like Deia, who should be dead.

10. The Lernaean Hydra

Air Date: 2012-07-08

Deunan and Briareos are assigned to protect a bioroid sculptor from Deia, who is bent on killing a specific group of them.

11. The Apples of Hesperides

Air Date: 2012-07-09

ES.W.A.T. is dispatched to the Argonaut to provide security for the final bioroid on Deia's hit list. Little does anyone know Deia has already made the first move.

12. The Capture of Cerberus

Air Date: 2012-07-09

Deunan and Briareos face off with Deia in a final battle.

13. Paradeisos

Air Date: 2012-07-09

Some time after the Deia incident, ES.W.A.T. is called in to supervise a diagnostic check of the Gaia Computer's systems. Soon after, unmanned Landmates and Auto Insectors start to malfunction.
