You, Me & Them

You, Me & Them tells the story of Lauren and Ed who are madly in love, despite their 26-year age gap. The only problem is that Lauren's family and everyone around them seems to have an opinion on the subject. Ed's ex-wife Lydia rents the house next door to the couple, Lauren's family are constantly meddling and Ed's friends think she's a trophy girlfriend. Characters include Lauren's disapproving parents Emma and Clive; plus her sister Debs, who lives nearby with husband Keith and their two children Ellie and Charlie. Lauren and Ed share their home with Ed's loveably hapless brother Alan whilst Ed's chancer grandson Tim never seems to be too far from his grandfather and his grandfather's wallet. You can choose your partner but you can't choose your family.

Tensions fly when Keith's handyman skills see Ed and Lauren needing to seek shelter at the Masons'. Meanwhile Clive's dabble with technology leaves him scared for his future and Emma taking drastic measures...

Lauren's school reunion throws an old flame into the mix and leaves Ed questioning their future. Ellie has some fun with her mum and dad's relationship but things look to backfire on her and Emma decides it's time to downsize, much to her family's dismay.

Debs is upset when her dad Clive gives Lauren five grand towards her upcoming wedding to Ed. Whilst Nola, an old friend of Emma makes an unexpected visit and reveals a shocking secret at family lunch; together they were exotic dancers called Coffee and Cream in the 60s. Meanwhile in a bid to kick-start his love life Alan's alternative date shows great potential.

6. The Origami Butterfly Effect

A shock announcement from Tim and Ellie leaves Lauren pondering and Ed hysterical. Debs' bid to change her ways comes with disastrous consequences, meanwhile Keith and Clive push their relationship to the brink of breaking after a run-in.
