Race Around the World

Race Around the World was an Australian documentary series produced by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in 1997 and 1998 . It was based on a Canadian television series. Both seasons were hosted by Richard Fidler, a former member of the Doug Anthony All Stars comedy group.

2. Story One - Part One

Kim Trail reports from Peru, John Safran gets himself locked in a stairwell in Japan, Ben Davies introduces us to a traditional wood carver in Irian Jaya and Olivia Rousett finds herself on the set of a porn movie in LA.

3. Story One - Part Two

Daniel Marsden introduces us to a dealer in Acapulco, Bentley Dean takes us to the Thai-Burmese Border to meet a folk singer, Claudia Rowe visits a man in New Zealand who loves his cat Judy and Scott Herford meets a tattoo artist in Manila.

Olivia Rousset treks through the jungle of Belize, Ben Davies is in Russia where the people are fighting political upheaval, Claudia Rowe is in Costa Rica and John Safran takes a wild trip in the back of an ambulance in Bombay, India.

Daniel Marsden meets a film extra in Iceland, Olivia Rousset reports on a poor housing estate in Scotland, Claudia Rowe is in Trinidad where she meets a local singer, and Bentley Dean goes to a remote part of Mongolia.

In tonight's episode: Scott Herford exposes money-hungry Egyptians in Cairo, Kim Traill goes to Botswana, Ben Davies meets up with Darren in the UK, and John Safran goes to the Ivory Coast and tries to have a curse put on his ex-girlfriend.

Claudia Rowe searches for a man whose name means "Sledgehammer" in Mongolia, John Safran talks to a Catholic Priest in Sicily about exorcisms, Scott Herford has dinner with a French girl in Paris and Olivia Rousset attends a funeral in Ghana.
