Shadows
Shadows is a British Supernatural television anthology series produced by Thames Television for ITV between 1975 and 1978. Extending over three seasons, it featured ghost and horror dramas for children. Guest actors included John Nettleton, Gareth Thomas, Jenny Agutter, Pauline Quirke, Brian Glover, June Brown, Rachel Herbert, Jacqueline Pearce and Gwyneth Strong. The series was also notable for reviving the character of Mr. Stabs. Notable writers for the series included J. B. Priestley, Fay Weldon and PJ Hammond.

Two school boys get locked in their football coach's office after hours. When they pass time by filling out a class questionnaire, something tries to contact them by making them write identical answers to the questions.
3. The Witch's Bottle

Teenager Jill visits an old cottage once occupied by another teenager named Jill three hundred years before. The other Jill was burned alive as a witch.
4. The Waiting room

A young woman and her brother are stranded in a remote area late at night.They find an old 1920s train station, and wait there for the 5:30 am train. A train, which is not listed on the woman's railway schedule, unexpectedly arrives at 1:30 am.
5. An Optical Illusion

Three teenagers tour a spooky old Tudor mansion just before it's about to close for the night. They hide in a secret passageway and get locked in.
6. Dutch Schlitz's Shoes
Air Date: 1975-10-08
An evil wizard burgles an old country mansion that houses a collection of strange magic items. He gets more than he bargains for when he steals a pair of shoes once owned by a Chicago gangster.

A scientist brings home a high-tech lens to amuse his children. The children can see scenes from the past through the lens.

A foster child escapes her abusive foster mother by befriending an old man and a stray cat. She tries to save them from a vicious street gang by calling up help from an ancient Celtic King.

Teenager Liz, unhappy at home, finds herself living in the past when she is magically transformed into a doll in an old Victorian doll house.
3. The Inheritance
Air Date: 1976-08-11
A dying gamekeeper teaches his teenage grandson about an ancient pagan dance involving men wearing deer antlers. The grandson begins to see the dancers in his dreams.
4. Dark Encounter
Air Date: 1976-08-18
A middle-aged Londoner returns to the remote village that sheltered him as a child from the London blitz. He realizes that he's afraid of the woods around the village, but can't remember why.
5. Peronik

Teenager Tom draws a poster illustrating an old legend for use as a decoration at a school costume dance. Then he finds that events from the legend seem to be following him around.

A teenage girl falls under the spell of a mysterious Greek urn. Strange things happen when she creates a larger version of a portrait on the urn.

4. The Boy Merlin

A Celtic witch teaches her foster grandson magic. The magic is useful when the boy is kidnapped by an evil Saxon lord.
5. The Man Who Hated Children
Air Date: 1978-10-18
Old Man Higgs fights a war of dirty tricks with two boys in his neighborhood. Things take a dark turn when Higgs tries to frame the boys for vandalism.
6. The Silver Apple
Air Date: 1978-10-25
A prince fights an evil wizard for the hand of his daughter, while competing with his twin brother for their country's throne.
7. Honeyann
Air Date: 1978-11-01
A country girl takes a job as nursemaid to a wealthy family, and finds that everyone in the house seems to be suffering under the rule of a strict, authoritarian nanny. She has a few country tricks up her sleeve for dealing with nanny.
